Zoe & Zak Camp -
December Pet of the Month
Meet the Camp kids – two great pooches that love to
visit the animal hospital. Zoe (aka Princess, Princess La
PeePee, Zode, Zoaster, Miss Princess Girl) is a 14 year old
young lady of Schnauzer and possible Poodle heritage. The
staff really got to know Zoe during her bladder stone surgery
and subsequent urine rechecks. She is a smart, sofa and car
loving, hates-to-take pills kind of girl but is aging gracefully
amid leaps and bounds. Zak (aka Zakula, Zakkie, Zakatooney,
Helen Keller Dog) is the 10 year old, 3 toothed, laid back
gentleman of the household. He visits Riverwalk for various
Schnauzer ailments but is always a real trooper. Zak is deaf,
pretty much blind and has a tough time getting around, but
he does enjoy his car rides, short walks, exploratory sniffing
and his snuggly cat bed. Mom Paige has been in the Bluffton
area since 1979 and loves her Schnauzers. She is a great
client with the coolest personality, and she always does
whatever her kids need.
