Stretch - June Pet of the Month
“Stretch” is a very young 21 year old (yes, that’s correct!) smooth Dachshund with the most wonderful mom and dad. They’ve done everything that Stretch needs including a recent thorough dental cleaning, extensive bloodwork and an abdominal ultrasound. Despite her very senior status Stretch is doing just great and certainly doesn’t act her age. Genetics, a loving home, and quality vet care are just some of the keys to her longevity. Stretch got her name when her parents happened upon her and her littermates all in a pile, but you guessed it ….. one was stretched out and history was born.
