Abby -
February Pet of the Month
Meet Abby, a 9 year old kitty with a special story. She originally came into the clinic for frequent urination in small amounts. Bloodwork, urinalysis and x-rays revealed that poor Abby had bladder stones. This required surgery called a cystotomy. She has recovered well and is enjoying all the extra attention from her family. We will work to prevent a recurrence of bladder stones with monitoring and special food.
Abby got her start in a Fayetteville, Georgia animal shelter and was adopted by the Hansen’s when she was only 7 weeks old. Her favorite things include sleeping in the sun, sleeping on daddy’s lap, talking for food when you go in the kitchen, and eating her wet food during the day and her hard food at night. She dislikes getting combed, having her teeth brushed and going anywhere in her travel carrier.
Happy Valentine’s Day! |
